BESTEST PET

I love to pet my old grey Cat
She’s a pet I’ll certainly keep
Despite how much I love my Cat
What my Cat does… is mostly sleep

Porcupines might be fun to have
There’s a problem that we all know
It’s not their sharp and pointy quills
But their snoring, they had to go

I’d like to pet a Lion’s mane
Don’t say you haven’t thought so too
But the chance of getting eaten
Well, that’s something I just can’t do

Elephants, Penguins, and a Croc
While they’re nice, there are problems, yes
One’s big, one’s cold, and one has teeth
I’ll have to pass on these, I guess

But Birds might be my bestest choice
Though they’re certainly hard to pet
‘Cause Birds can fly, both big and small
Yup, feathers are the best thing yet
