CAT WATCH

I’m tired of my Cat
Oomph, jumping on my head
In the middle of the night
And wanting to be fed

So I talked with my Cat
I got her to agree
That she’d buy a pocket-watch
It’s for the best you’ll see

I told her there’s a time
A time to eat or sleep
If you keep on waking me
You’ll likely see me weep

I could not find a watch
That told her when to eat
“‘Cause a watch does me no good,
My tummy can’t be beat.”

“You should be more thankful,”
My Watch-less Cat she said,
“That I’m NOT that… other Cat
The one named Fat Cat Fred.”
