DON'T TELL ME

To be or not to be
That’s the question, just so
Though I might not want
To really really know

I’ll admit I’m a bug
There’s no way around that
If I had a choice
At least I’m not a rat

I’m not really sure
What we bugs like to eat
You’d think that I’d know
My guess is something sweet

More important than that
What all bugs want to know
Is why are we here
Please, please say it ain’t so

My whole reason to be
Doesn’t lighten my mood
The purpose for bugs
Is to, well, to be food

LISTEN TO ME READ

I was thinking how much bugs bug me. And then I thought what it might be like to BE a bug. And then I wondered if they actually knew that they are just basically food for other bigger critters.
