FEATHER IN MY POCKET
I keep a feather in my pocket
Just in case there's a kink
It just might come in handy
Elephants on the brink
You could be swimming in a pool
He comes to get a drink
You find yourself inside his nose
And then you stop and think
I could be stuck here for a while
Inside this snotty trunk
This would not be a problem
If I had only thunk
To keep a feather in my pocket
WAIT! I DID! And now I knows
I'll tickle the inside until
His big, grey nose does blows
LISTEN TO ME READ
I was swimming this morning and found a floating duck feather. I looked at the swimming duck (I don't think he knows he's not supposed to be in the pool) and imagined he was an elephant... and then, well my brain goes sideways sometimes.
