WHEN I GROW UP

I want to be a police car
When I grow up, you’ll see.
I’ll be the best police car
That anyone could be.

You can’t be a police car
My parents said to me
You CAN be anything you want
But human it must be.

A cowboy or an astronaut
Now those are fine to choose.
A doctor or a fireman
With those you cannot loose.

I understand, it’s clear to me
When I’m bigger, when I grow up.
I know just what I want to be
I’ll be a fire truck.
