SO HARD TO START

It’s SO hard to start
At the start of the day
But I’ll give it a go
In the usual way

I roll out of bed
To the floor, on my face
Then I lie there a while
Because it’s not a race

I roll to my back
And I lie there some more
What? I wake myself up
With a very loud snore

I’m up, I get dressed
I sit down and I eat
Comb my hair, brush my teeth
Yup, I’m up on my feet

My mom yells, “WAKE UP!”
Better pick up the pace
T’was a dream and I’m still
On my floor, on my face

LISTEN TO ME READ

I think we've all been amazed by how deep our kids can sleep... or is it just my kids?
